Which size should I choose? 

We have adapted the fitting of our models to the occasions to which they are mostly wordn. While pumps are often worn

Can I buy the footbed separately? 

Together with his father, an orthopedic surgeon, as well as an orthopedic technology company from Freiburg, Christof carefully developed our comfort footbed. In order to meet the needs of the various support points of the foot in high heels and to support the arch of the foot in the right places, mechanisms from flat inlays have been specially adapted to the situation in high heels. Since this unique interplay of footbed and elegant shoe is specially coordinated, none of the elements can function without each other. Therefore, our soles do not fit conventional high heels.  
 

Have the innovative high heels already been tested? 

Apart from now more than 12,000 enthusiastic customers, 1600 test hours (by about 200 women) have been carried out in our shoes since 2013. 80% of the testers were enthusiastic about the comfort gain from the first time they stood in them.   

How do I maintaine my shoes? 

Suede: Spray your heels with a special waterproof spray at regular intervals to preserve the colour. In case of stains, rub carefully with a cotton cloth or a crepe rubber brush. 

Smooth leather: Your heels are protected best if you regularly apply a lightly greasing, impregnating shoe cream. You can carefully wipe off stains with a wettish cloth.  In case of heavy staining, we recommend cleaning with lukewarm water and a special leather soap. The shoes may only be made wet slightly during this process.       

Generally, the shoes should not be exposed to permanent sunlight in order to preserve the color intensity. For leather heels, also avoid contact with snow or water to avoid the risk of discoloration.

Shoe soles and sole edges:

We are particularly proud of our eco-friendly Thunit outer sole. Not only is it water-repellent, but it is made from recycled elastomer.
Another special thing about it is that with proper care, it can be worn for a long time. After each wear, wipe the outer sole and make sure to store the shoe dry in the dust bag afterwards.-We recommend applying a leather oil if needed, in case the sole dries out over time.

How should I break in the shoes? 

Listen to your feet take your time. During the break-in period of your new Maison Baum shoes, your feet will slowly get used to the new pressure load. At the same time, parts of the shoe gradually adapt to your anatomy. Therefore, it is best to wear the new shoes at home for a maximum of 1 hour on the first day and then increase the wearing time by 1 hour every day. After about four weeks, you should be able to wear your shoes comfortably outside the home.  

For which foot complaints are Maison Baum suited?  

Customers with various foot complaints can now again walk pain-free in high heels thanks to Maison Baum. However, since the perception of pain varies from person to person and both the type and degree of the disease cannot be assessed without detailed knowledge, no general recommendations can be made.

Can I change my order later? 

If you changed your mind or forgot something after you placed your order, please contact us by email. We will process your request within 24 hours.

How can I pay for my purchase? 

You can pay with VISA, MASTERCARD or AMERICAN EXPRESS. We also accept instant bank transfers as well as APPLE PAY, AMAZON PAY and PAYPAL. You can find more information about the payment options here.  

How long does shipping take for a pre-order?

Our high heels are lovingly and carefully made in our manufactory in beautiful Portugal. This takes time, which is why shipping a pre-order can take about 6-12 weeks through production and delivery to Germany. We will be happy to report the status of your order via email.  

What are the shipping costs? 

Shipping for Germany, France, Switzerland, Norway and the entire European Union is free. Customs fees and returns are excluded. Shipping to the US and the rest of the world costs €14 per package. More information about delivery time and cost can be found here.

What are the conditions for exchange or refund? 

All items can be exchanged or returned within 30 days, unworn and originally packed. Exchanges in France, Germany and Austria are free of charge. If you decide to return the item, you will be charged 4.90€ , minus the refund amount. In Switzerland, the European Union and the rest of the world, the customer is responsible for the exchange costs, as well as all customs and import fees - these cannot be refunded even in the case of an exchange. Where can I try Maison Baum-Heels beforehand? 

You can find us at the following dealers. In addition, you have the possibility to try our heels comfortably at home and, if necessary,returning them within 30 days without any questions.

When will the shoes be shipped?

We will ship your package daily by 11:30am. All orders received after this time will be shipped the following day.
